The GASTRO 2009 is designated for a maximum of 29 hours of European external CME credits. From Saturday until Tuesday, November 21-24, 2009 full congress days count for 6 credits, half congress days for 3 credits. On Wednesday, November 25, 2009, a full day counts 5 credits and a half congress day counts 2 credits. Thus, a maximum of 29 European CME credits can be obtained.
Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. EACCME credits are recognised by the American Medical Association towards the Physician's Recognition Award (PRA). To convert EACCME credit to AMA PRA category 1 credit, the AMA may be contacted.
In order to obtain CME credits, the GASTRO 2009 UEGW/WCOG, London requires feedback on its educational activities. Therefore, we kindly ask the delegates to complete the evaluation form included in the congress bag and return it to the specific CME desk at the congress counter on the last day of attendance.
The CME Certificate of EACCME will be issued at the congress counter. Upon request the certificate can also be mailed after the congress.
